This is a fat succulent leaf no spine (but are serrated) Hechtia, light green in color and I find it a slow grower. All the other hechtia's I have would cause pain and take blood from you if you got to close .
It seems to like being on the dry side so you have to be careful of not over watering and the soil mix also needs to dries faster. I have only had this plant for a few months, I hope it will do well come winter.
Well it over wintered Ok with just a little cold damage.
