Len, I've never had a dyckia flower ( namely because I have no mature Dyckia ), but how long in general does it take from initial pollination to the time the pod is mature and ready to throw seed?
Len, Also does that tag say D. Icicle as when I did a brief search they all looked like this: http://www.jacksonvillezoo.org/botanical/plants/icicle_bromeliad/
Just curious as it has a more wide ML type look. You're the expert I was just wondering.
Is your question, how long does it get seed to form once the flowers open? Just a few week.
How long from seed to flower? I don't know for sure, as I don't grow them from seed.
