Sarasota Bromeliad Society Show the day affter

The Sarasota Bromeliad Society Show and Sale had it's 30th annual  show and sale
at it's new venue at South Gate Community Center.

Not many people came to the Show or Sale. I think because it's a little off the beaten track and kind of hard to find.

I didn't take photos of all the plant but mostly the Succulent Bromeliads and the one that interested me.

Crown of Thorns

Euphorbia milii splendens comes in many froms and colors.

With all the hybrids around you can find all kinds of colors and color combinations as long as it is red, yellow, white or a shades or one of them.

Their are big and small forms as well.

A easy to grow plant that can take full sun.
Blooms freely most of the year

This is a Thai Hybrid with large flowers

It is a  Euphorbia so the sap is poisonous, it can irritates the skin, and can cause temporary blindness if it goes in the eyes.
