Dyckia reitzii v. rubra

Not a plant you see to much of.

I guess it's kind of new in cultivation.
It is one of those dyckia that doesn't make offsets but Divides (makes two heads).

A  plant call rubra you would think it stayed red all the time but not so.

It colors up in the winter, I guess.

You can find hybrids of this that has been crossed with some other dyckia's.  

Looks like this is going to flower some time soon.
